| Structure: |
- Games will be played by MDBP rules
- Seeding based on the 2009 rankings
- 64-team bracket
- All teams guaranteed a minimum of 3 games:
- Double elimination
- Winner's bracket will be best 2 out of 3 series
- Loser's bracket will be individual games
- Cash side tournaments (sit 'n' gos) all day after first elimination round

Includes WSOBP entry, 4-night hotel stay in Las Vegas, and a chance to win $50,000
- $1,000 in cash payouts for the Top 7:
- 1st: $350 + WSOBP bid
- 2nd: $300
- 3rd: $160
- 4th: $80
- 5th: $50
- 6th: $30
- 7th: $30
- Trophies for 1st-3rd place
- Ribbons for 4th-8th place
* Winning team may elect to redeem WSOBP bid for $700 cash

Along with the tournament winners, several season-long awards will be given out to deserving teams:
- Excellence Award - To the team with the highest MD State Ranking.
- Achievement Award - To the team with best performance in national/international competition.
- Best All-Female Award - To the best all-female team of the year.
- Unsung Hero Award - To the team that never won a tournament but that consistently perfromed at a high level.
- Spirit Award - To the team who's passion for the game transends their win/loss record.

| Beer: |
Tournament beer is included with entry fee.
Teams will receive one ticket per game/series, redeemable for one pitcher of beer.
Coronas are $3, other beers are $4 or a bucket of 3 for $10.
Some concessions available in the Carriage Room. Food court and bar located just outside. |
| T-shirts: |
All participants will receive official State Championship T-shirts.
Additional t-shirts available for purchase. |
Designated
Drivers: |
 Designated drivers will receive a gift bag coutesy of Laurel Park.
One lucky DD will receive a free vacation at the Surrey Beach House, Ventnor, NJ (2 minutes from AC) courtesy of Beachtree Properties.
Prize includes 2-night hotel stay only. Transportation not included. |

Laurel Park is sponsoring a toy drive benefiting The Bea Gaddy Foundation, St. Vincent di Paul, and Childrens' Favorite Things.
All participents and spectators are encouraged to donate.

| Eligibility: |
This tournament will feature 64 teams. Participants must meet the following criteria (ordered by preference):
- Both players must have qualified by placing top 5 in an MDBP tournament
- or one player has qualified and your team has played together at an MDBP tournament
- or both players are Maryland residents
For example, two PA residents that placed 3rd in a State Qualifier are eligible.
Two MD residents that have not qualified are eligible but with lower priority. |
| Registration: |
Tournament entry (including beer and t-shirts) is:
- $50 / team if you register online before Nov 1st.
- $55 / team if you register online before Nov 14th.
- $60 / team if you register with cash on December 5th.
