Seems to me that this is a perfect venue to list our favorite bars…..mine is
O’Reilly’s in North Beach in San Francisco…..it’s a great Irish bar, run by Myles O’Reilly an ex priest……so he’s making up for ‘lost time’…
On St. Patrick’s Day the whole block is one big beerfest…..and it’s interesting to note that located also on this block (Green St)……is a funeral house, a police station and a theatre that play’s ‘Beach Blanket Babylon’ the longest running play in the country…..and for good reason……

Bpong ought to keep a list of Best Bars, just like their ‘Tables’……..Go Giants!!!

Yeah, we’re working on it. I can’t tell you how long it might be before we get that feature done, but sooner or later, we’ll have something up that tracks bars – both bars that have beer pong and bars that are just great bars.

just wait until the Best Bar forum is set up?

An awesome bar that I have been going to all summer is a bar in San Francisco by union square. Its called barnone. In the back on any night of the week you can play beer pong on one of about 6 or 7 tables they have set up in the back. On the weekends this place gets crazy!! Check it out sometime, its at union and buchanan. Here’s their website link

Yeah that’s the one. They talked to us about doing a satellite tournament last year–, but I think they were on the liquor control board’s shit-list, so they held off. With any luck they’ll be able to run one this year.

Yo, another great bar for beer pong is Tres Gringos in San Jose, CA. Every Wednesday night is Beer Pong Wednesday. 12 bucks for 6 tecates for beer pong!! Right next door is San Jose Bar and Grill with $1 beers on wednesday too! I plan on heading up there tonight. I talked to the bar manager at Tres Gringos last Friday about hosting a tourney and he sounded optimistic. Check out their website. link
