    Post subject: How to sign up for WSOBP 2010?

  • Im attempting to signup already for the World Series of Beer Pong in Vegas and I'm having an issue with the site.  I am logged in for bpong.com however when I go the WSOBP tab, and continue on to register for the tournament, it just refreshes to login.  It wont allow me to register a new account either.  Are the website account and WSOBP accounts different? If so maybe the registration is closed.  In this case, I think it may be a good idea to put a notice as to when registration opens.

    you haven't noticed that everything on the "world series tab" is in reference to world series 4, and that sign-up deadline was in dec of 2008?  there is one little spot that says world series 5 in the works, or something like that.
     
    bottom line - don't get discourage, you'll get to sign up before the end of 2009 for wsobp V

  • lol although i love his eagerness to participate in the next world series, this is ridiculous haha..signups dont usually start till sptember/october ish..

  • They'll be starting much earlier this year, although I do not yet have an exact date.  There's a chance we'll be live by the beginning of March.

    speaking of which, is there going to be a limit for the amount of teams? i mean 800 teams would be amazing, but i doubt teams below 10-2 would make day 3...

  • or they can just add a few games to the prelims, say instead of playin 12 games you play 15. Time restraints may become a factor though..another idea is lowering the cut off record to get into the 3rd day and allowing more teams in ..all that would require is keeping more of the tables set up.
