    $10 for a $1,000 tourney does seem crazy....is it 1,000 to first or split up over different places like 1st-4th??

  • The rules are also pretty crazy, I checked it out online a couple weeks ago... 6 cup racks, same cup=game over, and some other crazy stuff. It's worth the money if you can look past the rules. Not standard Bpong.

  • Yeah the rules are a little bit different, but def. worth it if the top prize is $1,000 and not split up. Here in Charlotte, NC (a few hours from this place) I use WSOBP equipment and rules so its legit. I will be hosting a Qualifier for the WPT AC Tourney in just a few weeks and will have the details on that set in stone any day now. Looks like Saturday March 7th...

    Its 700 first place, 200 second and 100 third
     
    10 gets u in the tourney a buffet and ur first beer free....
     
    We have been running qualifiers since first week in Feb so will be a great turnout...

  • well they've been having qualifiers up to this point and have only been awarding the top 3 finishers free entry into the tournament (no $) ..i'm assuming they're just saving up the money from these qualifiers to finance the tournament in addition to whatever money they get from new teams
