  • "Justin Davidson, another university alumnus, tied for first place in the summer league with his team "F--- Duke." Davidson's team has played in the all of the past four state championships, and they are ranked 10th in the state."

I guess when we win the league championship by 7 cups we still "tie" for first? I'm outraged.

Thought you guys might want to check out this beer pong article in the Diamondback (UMD's newspaper).
The College Park Fall League gets a lot of love.

    Here is the link:

    Hey,
Just wanted to thank everyone for their support, especially Austin.  Couldn't have done it without all of you!  The Fall League starts up this Tuesday...  Maybe some of you will now decide to come out for it and show College Park what you got!  We are looking at having around 30 teams this fall so there should be some good competition.

Yeah, yeah. The real hilarious part is that they quoted Justin about "getting drunk" not being the point of playing. Maybe they should get Adam to second his motion?

  • I love how they reference the 'international' tournament in jamaica which has garnered a total of what, like, 10 teams participating each year?

    I think it was 10 year 1, and 12 year 2.

At that rate, by 2018 there will be a full 32 team bracket!

    I especially love this part:

    "Ben

The teammates have quite a history of playing together, they said, but not in many organized competitions, although they did win a trip to Jamaica for a tournament last year.

"We have been playing together on and off for about three years now," O'Hare said. "This is one of our first tournaments."

Somehow I recall our interview going a little differently lol.
Hilarious that he mis-quoted us as saying it was one of our first time playing organized competition.

To be fair he didn't pull that out of thin air though. I said that it was our first tournament for the year in MD and that I rarely play the game anymore these days.
