    Post subject: Holiday Beer Pong Classic in Philly

  • Since registration for WSOBP closes December 5th, we're not going to be able to put together another satellite for this season.  However, McFadden's gave us the green light to go ahead and throw one for $1000 cash to first place (and cash prizes for 2nd and 3rd obviously) on December 20th.  If any of you are interested, please sign up asap.  That'd be some damn good spending money in Vegas to any of you that already won a bid.

    I opened up registration this morning at 8:30 and had 2 teams signed up by 8:32.  We're up to 8 already and it's only almost 1 now.  Sign up while spots are left!
     
    Austin, let me know if your plans change and you can make it.

    Spots left? I asked how many teams capped off at I saw it says 64.
    Me and my boy are thinking of making the 3hr trek down more to meet some of you guys down there than to win because we ain't that good, just love playing competitively. Would just hate to drive down there to find out it got cancelled due to lack of teams or something.

    i think there were about 20 paid teams on the waiting list last time, i very much doubt this one will be cancelled.

    What's the total amount of paid teams up to now? I signed up today, and I think a couple other MD teams are going to make the trip up there if they haven't already signed up.

  • last i checked, we have 32 teams signed up.  stephen and paul (from njbeerpong) are meeting me in philly on saturday.  its the running of the santas or something, so were gonna put up flyers and whatever in an attempt to get more teams.  mcfaddens just put the tourney up on their site last night which is annoying because theres only a week left, but were hoping theres a mad rush.  either way, the tourney is happening.  im pretty confident it will fill up.
