  • All I ask is why... why Jesus, why? The Illinois Fighting Illini are a major conference team and they were given a 5 seed for a reason - or so I thought. They ultimately achieved their goal, which of course was to put up a valiant effort against a shitty team named the Hilltoppers. However, they failed, aka they lost, which would ultimately cost me $20.
     
    How 'bout those Terps?! They played their hearts out, but boy they suck (I'm a die-hard Terps fan, but they looked very similar to the things that leave my anus after that victory).
     
    This is, of course, the time of year when upsets happen and "mid-major" teams make their run for glory. I shouldn't be upset with those D-bag Illini, but come on... Anyways, I'm excited to see all the best teams come out tonight. Win or lose, its MARCH MADNESS, so lets get drunk and fuck some bitches... oh and if you're last name rhymes with Barvick, just play it safe and say hi to some bitches. LETS GOOOOO MARY-LAND!

    Yeah Illinois let me down in my survival pool and now I'm out $20. I should have known better to pick them as it seems like they choke somewhere in the tournament every year.
     
    As far as the Terps, I thought they played one of their better games of the season. Suffocating defense, and they looked downright nasty in the second half after only shooting like 37% in ther first half.
     
    What worries me about the Terps is they are a different team when Vasquez isn't on the floor. I also don't trust any of them except Vasquez as ball handlers, and even he makes me nervous sometime with his decisions.
     
    If they can play a full game like they did in the second half and Memphis plays like they did yesterday, I can definitely see an upset. They haven't lost since before Christmas, so they're due.

  • My bracket blows so I'm not going to offer any insight into the upcoming games.
     
    All I wanted to comment on was how awesome it was that Gutierrez was weeping like a baby after he fouled out.

  • i picked Western KY over illinois just for that reason, that they always choke, and that was the only 12-5 upset i picked, theres usually 1 every year....

  • I'm mad that I forgot to enter my bracket with the beer pong crew.  My sheet of integrity started 19-1 before I took some hits.  Looking good so far counting my 2 auto 2nd round losses currently playing and am at 36-7 and winning the 2 on now that I can win.  Woot Woot  Well
