I'm not saying you were semi-screwed... but you did have plenty of opportunities to win. Maybe I was jumping ahead to say that they were better that day, seeing as there could have been an entire 2nd game played. I guess I'm judging on the fact that they were in the winners bracket, and you weren't.

take a guess who they played in the finals of the winners bracket?

anyway.. in the winners final.. 3 cups into the game, they opened up the hurricane winds (haha ok slight embellishment) from outside. We had the disadvantaged side - shooting against the wind.

There was one shot I am fully 100% confidant that I witnessed the wind blow it right back toward me. The effect was quite strong, the shot was otherwise dead on, and we lost by one.

Because the conditions changed after the match had began, we didn't have any choice in opting for side. The entire thing was a sham, but at least  my shots that went in were all counted that game! Which is really all you can ask for.

Actually scratch that, apparently that is too much to ask for too lol.

There is precident the other way as well, please read the story above.  Sean is correct if this were the other way around I would agree to replay but it's obvious to me that Joey is a poor sport and figured he would refuse the replay.   Joey if you want to back your way into championships your whole life more power to you but I think refusing us the replay (which is the fair thing to do) will cause you to lose the respect of many of your peers.

Just the fact that you refused to change tables after the conditions changed and the wind became a factor says a lot about you.  You knew that your bullet of a shot was better suited for those conditions so rather than play on a level playing field you elected to continue at the table.

Now you didn't even hit more cups in a game and you are claiming championship.  Maybe you should just practice harder so you can beat people fairly rather than depend on wind/mishaps to win torunaments for you.

Austin- I understand the decision and I wish I had caught the mistake but unfortunately I didn't.  I have no issues with you but the fact that our opponnents don't want to man up and earn their torunament victory says a lot about their character to me.

Joey enjoy you $200 and gold trophy but just know that you didn't earn it yet and without a rematch never will in my mind.  Replaying is the "right thing to do", but apparently you don't live by that motto.
You are right Mitch,  what was I thinking?  Apparently I can only win if I'm outside and its windy.

    Oh wait.......

By the way, the $200 doesn't mean shit to me.  I don't play beerpong for the prize money.

Well if you don't play for the money or the satisfication that you actually earned a victory then what do you play for?

I would like an answer to this question.
