I predict a first round loss for the hung and the restless lol

I'm pretty confident you didn't have to consult Miss Cleo for that prognostication.

I'm going to have to agree. More than likely 0-2. But their confidence might prove more than we give them credit for. Good luck to everyone, even Hung and the Restless.

If it's truly more than likely 0-2, then it would be favorable odds for you to bet me $50 that we go 1-2 or better. I'll hold my head high with that record for a free day of drinking. I will take that from anyone willing to offer it.

I'll also give 3:2 odds that Foster goes home with less than or equal prize money than The Hung and the Restless. You get paid 3:2 Odds if he places 7th or better and we don't place better. But if he comes in 8th and we come in dead last, I get paid.

I've never seen you play so I won't pretend I can guess how well I think you will do in the tourney. It looks like you're going to be playing Midnight Meat Train who's a pretty tough team to go against in the first round. There's a lot of "pretty good" to "awesome" teams in the tourney so there won't really be many chances to advance if you aren't shooting well. Best of luck to you though.

And as far as Foster not finishing 7th or better in the tournament....come on now. Don't give away money to people.

If Foster and Jeff don't finish in the top 7 I'll drink the nastiest shot they can make at the bar.

I certainly wouldn't be mad if they were able to take the whole tournament. Not mad at all.

Austin - the three of us are now automatically suspended for conspiring to gamble at a MD beer pong event. Rules are rules. I guess I've already won the bet by default. You can still show up with the $70 though Foster, though I do take PayPal.

Austin - the sooner you put up the bracket, the sooner one team knows that they're gonna have to be 11-1 to contend for the gold. WOOOOO! WOOOOO! WOOOOO! WOOOO!

Ok guys, sorry for the delay.
The preliminary bracket can be found on the tournament page here:
    http://mdbeerpong.com/tournament_info.php?id=117

This is the largest State Championships field we've had yet at 54 teams.
    Should be an awesome tournament.

It looks like the field has increased to 56, so the 54th seeded Hung and the Restless should now be the 55 seed and playing Watcha Got --- which I feel better about out of ignorance. The Meat Train spanked the shit out of us in the semi's in Bethesda and that would have been a hell of a first round match and avenging the loss would have been in my drunk egotistic head and probably lost us the match. And if we managed to pull it off we would likely have had to play Insta-Blackout which took us 3 OT to win against... I like it.

Good luck to everyone and may the drunkest team win.

I also want to see Jeff and 'Big Brown' go at it - sadly I missed it when he and Andrew took a dump all over 5 Peez Nuggets at the Last Chance.

The only thing that Big Brown took a dump on was his brown shoes, brown shirt and brown pants at the last chance. He made literally one cup that game against us, and he made exactly ZERO cups during the game I heckled him. In addition, he also declined a 1-on-1 cash game after telling me he would play. What can Brown do for me? Absolutely nothing, apparently.

The only way we will "go at it" is if he wants to play cash games afterward, but I'm assuming y'all won't stick around until the finals.

Jeff - thanks for that. I was hoping to instigate some smack talk. Big Brown was pussying out of the tournament to study for a Constitutional Law Final which would have left my roomate stranded without an eligible partner, or me having to ditch Tom to play with him. I took a screenshot of that shit and e-mailed it to him and it did the trick. He will NOT be studying constitutional law. He will be playing pong heckling you at the tournament instead.

It was our understanding that these bets were to be placed with league-sanctioned "fun credits," not cash.
