I also want to see Jeff and 'Big Brown' go at it - sadly I missed it when he and Andrew took a dump all over 5 Peez Nuggets at the Last Chance.

The only thing that Big Brown took a dump on was his brown shoes, brown shirt and brown pants at the last chance. He made literally one cup that game against us, and he made exactly ZERO cups during the game I heckled him. In addition, he also declined a 1-on-1 cash game after telling me he would play. What can Brown do for me? Absolutely nothing, apparently.

The only way we will "go at it" is if he wants to play cash games afterward, but I'm assuming y'all won't stick around until the finals.

Jeff - thanks for that. I was hoping to instigate some smack talk. Big Brown was pussying out of the tournament to study for a Constitutional Law Final which would have left my roomate stranded without an eligible partner, or me having to ditch Tom to play with him. I took a screenshot of that shit and e-mailed it to him and it did the trick. He will NOT be studying constitutional law. He will be playing pong heckling you at the tournament instead.

To disregard such a deliberate choice of words and their natural meaning, would be a departure from the first principle of constitutional interpretation. "In expounding the Constitution of the United States," said Chief Justice Taney in Holmes v. Jennison, 14 U.S. 540, 570-1, "every word must have its due force and appropriate meaning; for it is evident from the whole instrument, that, no word was unnecessarily used, or needlessly added. The many discussions which have taken place upon the construction of the Constitution, have proved the correctness of this proposition; and shown the high talent, the caution and the foresight of the illustrious men who framed it. Every word appears to have been weighed with the utmost deliberation and its force and effect to have been fully understood.

  • You're going to have to sum that up for me Jeff.
    You know I can't read.

So the bracket has changed slightly to include two more teams that were late signing-up (not their fault).

    Now there are 56 teams.
    Here's the new bracket:

Austin - perhap's I don't understand, but I thought the ranking system was based purely on points - how is it that the teams that were late to register default to the lowest seeds in the bracket instead of going into the seed that would reflect their rank and having the other games be shifted accordingly? This is an injustice to both opponents. I demand to be playing a higher-ranked team.

I predict a first round loss for the hung and the restless lol

I'm going to have to agree. More than likely 0-2. But their confidence might prove more than we give them credit for. Good luck to everyone, even Hung and the Restless.

I'll also give 3:2 odds that Foster goes home with less than or equal prize money than The Hung and the Restless. You get paid 3:2 Odds if he places 7th or better and we don't place better. But if he comes in 8th and we come in dead last, I get paid.

Bring $105 to the tournament for me.

Austin - the three of us are now automatically suspended for conspiring to gamble at a MD beer pong event. Rules are rules. I guess I've already won the bet by default. You can still show up with the $70 though Foster, though I do take PayPal.

your entrapment is as bad as your pong.

The two teams that were added were Clownbaby and Running With Scissors.

Clownbaby placed 4th in one tournament and 0-2 in the other.
This puts them pretty low on the totem poll.

Running With Scissors won the Last Chance Qualifier but Jeff won with Steph.
Steph is playing with Just Give Up now so Jeff picked up Kristin as a (legal) sub.

Since both teams aren't exactly points powerhouses, I just added them onto the bottom of the bracket.
The difference really is very small and since the bracket was already made, it's just not worth ripping everything up.

I think your chances are just as good as Hung and the Restless then.

I also tried to take him up on his bet about finishing higher than him in prize money, but he wouldn't take that before the tournament started.

And of course he would have lost that bet. And he went 0-2 so he would have lost the other bet too. Sounds like he didn't do very much to be taken seriously as a prophet or a beer pong player yesterday.

It was somewhat disappointing to see wet ballz win. I tried my best to stop them, but it just wasn't enough. Jeff and I did awesome together in the league, but we haven't seemed to bring that same magic and didn't click as a great team in tournaments.

Jamie is a great player and I have to give him props for carrying his team to victory. I guess we'll be seeing them in vegas again this year.
