On a side note, I called into a talk radio show today because they were discussing this on the air. Unfortunately, I don't think they believed me that we play with water and I don't play for the drinking. Oh well, maybe one day.

When they challenge that sort of stuff on the radio, the DJ is just trying to say what the audience is thinking.

I see it as a good thing, because that addresses the audience's misconceptions directly and gives you a chance to tell it to the listeners like it is.

    Another article:

It's is crazy how much press this is getting.

The amount of press has been astounding but I hope it doesn't get out of hand.

The ABC piece paints the organized pong community in a positive light but I'd hate to raise too much attention to where another legislator attempts to make it an issue again. We were able to get Della to back down on the bill but I'm not sure we could have the same effect if the ban idea is able to grow steam from other outlets.

Regardless, congratulations on going national Austin. The only publication I've been quoted in was the Diamondback where I promoted my love of fast food.

Here's the article the Baltimore Sun wrote about the city dropping the bill:

From the Senator himself - "We're getting inundated with so many e-mails that I don't have the time to fool with it"

Good job everyone for flooding his mailbox
