it would be interesting to see these numbers over 10 or more tourneys...

so far I am 188/290 for the last 3 tournaments.
    that's an average of 65%

I'll get at least 10 on here before I stop updating the thread.

  • It finally happened! Perfectly
I broke 70% today on record, making 71% across all 10 tournament games.

I was 75% over the last 5. (47/63 - there are 8 overtimes in there)
Alas, once again I only got 2nd place.

During the finals I didn't miss in regulation, but wet ballz made a rebuttal and I was sub par in OT.

  • Yea, I still couldn't shake the 2nd place curse lol. I felt off all day, and it showed. My confidence wasn't really there, so I let Sean take a lot of the 3rd shot bringbacks. He tracked me as shooting 53% for the whole tournament, but it felt worse. I had a couple really bad games in there, one which I shot 36%. I brought it on at the end, but I still wasn't feeling it 100%. $200 is better than nothing, though.

You opened pretty clutch hitting the first cup for a LOT of OT games.

  • Played at Perry Hall today with mitch.

We played 6 games, and I made 47/77 for 61%
    67   64   70   64   50   45

Looks like I kind of fell apart at the end, but we got 1st place.
This was also the lowest I've tracked myself shooting for the year.

When I hit 64% in the winners finals, it should have been 90% but the 4 OTs dropped me like a rock. I just wasn't feeling it and I carried that with me to the finals. I had to make a 4 cup rebuttal and I guess it threw me off after that.

  • Current total is: 314/479
That is 66% over 5 tournaments.

  • So I tried out keeping stats on my phone during tournament play and I hated it. I did it for 4 games and shot 67.5% (27/40). I stopped keeping stats after that because I found myself thinking more about the stats than the game itself.

I'm all for keeping stats, but I'm used to having someone else do it on the side... maybe its a matter of getting used to it, but as of know I can't see myself keeping my own stats at tourneys.

it was much easier when I had a phone holder on my side
