    Post subject: SCBP Open Results

  • For those of you who followed along with the SCBP Open on Saturday, and then were disappointed to find that we weren't updating for the tournament - I apologize.
     
    In the madness of the transition from pool play and setting up the final tournament (along with taking teams to the woodshed), I simply forgot to post the link to the bracket.  I was a little disappointed in myself for that oversight - as I'd have loved something like this for any other big events that I can't go to (and I put a ton of time into getting it to actually work).  Those of you that did want the updates - thanks for checking in.  Hopefully it's something that can be done for other big events.
     
    The finals were Doin Hella Much over Hood Fresh Paint Job - which went the full 3 games, including a 4OT thriller in game one.

    Sonoma Joe-You guys played great. It was definitely one of the most memorable games I've played...with all the shit-talking going on.

  • I agree it was a lot of fun...ill have to make it down in the next couple monthes to play in a satellite or something.

    Sonoma Joe-You guys played great. It was definitely one of the most memorable games I've played...with all the shit-talking going on.

    Peter, Tyler, Lolo, Skinny and everyone else who helped run the tournament did an amazing job.  I think I can probably speak for everyone when I say that we all had a great time.
     
    Sonomajoe/mike - Our game against you guys was probably one of the more memorable of the tournament and was great to be a part of. Great playing and congrats on the 2nd place finish. I actually have the video from the game and will post it later on today...it's 33 minutes long hahaha...I apologize for taking so painfully long to shoot sometimes (alcohol had really kicked in at that point). Nice meeting you guys and hopefully see you at a future tournament soon...

    HAHAHAHA it is pretty entertaining. I'm not sure about the phone call, I think it is. You can hear all of the different things people were calling us and Hood Fresh Paint Job, which is very funny. I wasn't aware I looked like mini-me, Simon Brich, or resemble Ray Charles.
