It will also be a gross violation of the rules and the entrance agreement for next year, with punishment including a lifetime ban from the WSOBP.

i hadn't heard anything about this shit until last night when i read this thread.  that is by far the weakest shit i've ever heard on bpong... win your games or go home.

but, in response to your statement above skinny: i think you'd have to be very careful about enforcing this.  what if some team just didn't like me and decided to report me for cheating??? what would be indisputable evidence that someone actually offered money for a loss.  it could just cause a mass clusterfuck of ill will.

It is still beer pong, however a lot of people go out there with "teams" of their friends.  If this is the case, I dont think it is that big of a deal.  They do it in Nascar, gymnastics, cycling and several other events where teams of individuals are competing and they want to send the best possible players to the finals

  • Aside from blatantly knocking over cups or catching people taking bribes there really is no way to prove it.  Once day 3 is out of the picture many teams choose to drink it up more than usual which may affect their shooting anyway. Plus, with the forfeit rule teams could just not show up to give an opponent a win. Now that there are no divisions any thought of having teams that win by forfeits play each other in a make up games vs other teams that had no opponents to avoid situations like this?
