    hey guys.  i dont bitch on here about anything but this is kind of rediculous.  the rules, cups, tables, and balls are great.  so is the format.  
     
    the one thing that is awful is the use of roman numerals for WSOBP IV.  at my house and bars we play at we only use regular numbers like 4.  
     
    i think this greatly effects the game and if you guys plan on making this tourney a true best of the best, i think this needs to change.  i realize that the roman numerals have been used in every world series for the past three years, but seriously...a IV.  come on guys.  what do you guys think?

    Nick - I really don't know where you're coming from on this. Normally, when I get back back from the WSOBP, i go straight to rehab and get hooked up with an IV. I really don't know how we could make things more appropriate.

    wow.  thanks skinny.  i guess through replies with logical examples, i learned that posting stupid shit really gets you nowhere.  i guess there is nothing left for me to do but play the game as it is supposed to be played and not worry about useless although bothersome details that are uncontrollable and do not really change the purpose of the tournament.
     
    also, in preparation for the only $50,000 tournament in the country i think instead of bitching about the use of roman numerals soe more, i will change my unique house rules to match those of the world championships in the game i am playing.  this may not go over well with the four people who are not used to roman numerals, but i guess if the rest of the country is using them then those four people could maybe change it up.  wow that wasnt hard at all

    Maybe they should call it the World Series of WATER PONG since they fill the back cups with water!!!! I don't know about you guys, but I play beer pong, not water pong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    In Charlotte, NC I threw a few weekly Tourneys followed by a huge on to end the season and the amount of people that bitched about the other teams using water or just not agreeing with the rules was insane. One team had to be thrown out of the bar b/c the douche was getting damn near brawl status. Some people dont get it. Especially here where the laws are somewhat strict and in the waiver that is signed it clearly states, "You do not have to play with beer or any alcoholic beverages." Funny thing was, the team that won, was playing with water up until the last few games, but was drinking on the side in between games...
